About Chelsea King

Chelsea King Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Catholic Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at Sacred Heart University. She completed her Ph.D. in Systematic Theology in 2020 from the University of Notre Dame with a dissertation focused on the hermeneutics of sacrifice in a post-Darwinian and feminist world. Many of Dr. King's publications and presentations center on the philosophy of Rene Girard. Dr. King serves as administrative board member of Theology and Science Section and managing editor of  Journal of Poverty and Public Policy.
