Assistant Professor of Humanities at Dominican University of California.  Interest in place-based knowing, landscape studies, spirituality, environmental arts and humanities. Primary area of research and writing focuses upon the history and practice of landscape photography, particularly on the ways in which it is an embodied practice of coming to know, understand, and belong to place.
