Abstract
Participants enjoyed a brief history of labyrinths, which date back more than 4,000 years and appear on every continent except Antarctica. The labyrinth was presented as a tool for self-transformation, creativity, and concentration and more. After a guided imagery meditation, we explored the interdisciplinary role of labyrinths on college campuses and discussed the permanent labyrinth installation in the works at UMass Amherst.
