Abstract
The Work That Reconnects, is based on the teachings of Joanna Macy*. Explore a spiral journey through four stages: Coming from Gratitude, Honoring our Pain for the World, Seeing with New/Ancient Eyes, and Going Forth. This virtual collective journey will guide participants in an interactive experience illuminating how we are strong, creative, and deeply interconnected. This virtual program was part of Climate Preparedness Week, a partnership between Communities Responding to Extreme Weather and libraries across the state, including the UMass Amherst Libraries.
*Joanna Rogers Macy, is an environmental activist, author, scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory, and deep ecology. She is the author of eight books.
