Charles Courtemanche is an assistant professor of economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He received his Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008. His primary research interests are applied microeconomics and health economics, and his research topics include obesity, long-term care insurance, ambulatory surgery centers, big box retailers, and housing markets.
