Abstract
A broad-based, well-balanced survey of entomology, this work covers taxonomy, evolution, ecology, behavior, physiology, and applied entomology. Identifies the relations of the various taxonomic groups of insects to facilitate easier visualization of the major morphological features of each insect group, and also clearly establishes morphological differences within taxonomic categories and their ecological and adaptive significance.
