Permian Tectonic History in Glass Mountains, Texas: Geological Notes
Bulletin of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (1962)

Abstract
Recognition of the lateral changes of facies in the Wolfcampian, Leonardian, and early Guadalupian Series of the Permian, Glass Mountains, West Texas (Fig. 1), is of great significance not only in regard to the lateral correlation within the outcrop belt but also in regard to the interpretation of the tectonic features of the area. This reconsideration of the influence of local tectonic features on the deposition of these rocks is based on detailed studies of the stratigraphy of the units and the distribution of fusulinids and their paleoecology (Ross, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962; Ross and Oana, 1961).
