About Charles Jacob

Charles J. Jacob, Ph.D. is an Instructor in the Clinical Mental Health Program in the Isabelle Farrington College of Education at Sacred Heart University. Dr. Jacob has been working in mental health for over 20 years. He received his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University and is a Pennsylvania psychologist and professional counselor that specializes in family and couples counseling, addictions counseling, and grief counseling. Dr. Jacob is a Fulbright Specialist (2019-2024), has presented at conferences around the world, and is published in several scholarly journals such as the Journal of the Pennsylvania Counseling Association, Journal of Creativity in Mental Health and The Family Journal.
