About Chandrasekhar Krishnamurti

Dr Chandrasekhar Krishnamurti is currently the Professor, Head of Finance Discipline and Director of Research at the University of Southern Queensland. He also serves on the board of the Asian Finance Association. His research interests include corporate governance, market microstructure and corporate finance. Chandra has won eight awards for his research work. He has published 48 research articles in outlets such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Financial Management, Journal of Financial Research, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, Corporate Governance: An International Review, Australian Journal of Management, Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money. He has published the following edited volumes: Mergers acquisitions, and corporate restructuring, Advanced corporate finance, and Investment management. Chandra has consulted for industry and government. He was contracted to be the principal consultant in the Financial Institutions Reform and Expansion (FIRE) project funded by USAID. He has organised and conducted executive courses in the areas of Investment Strategies, Derivative products, and Advanced Corporate Finance in India, Singapore and Australia.
