Fertigation Techniques for Different Irrigation MethodsProceedings of the 1995 Irrigation Association Annual Technical Conference: Phoenix, AZ
Abstract- The irrigation method influences whether or not chemicals must be injected at a constant rate. - The irrigation method influences the optimum duration of chemical injection. - Chemical injection rates may inadvertently vary during an irrigation set for many reasons: improper mixing, system flow rate fluctuations, and system pressure fluctuations - Drip systems must account for the disposal of filter flush water.
