About Cat Mailloux, M.F.A.

Cat Mailloux was born and raised in the heart of the midwest, central Minnesota. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a B.F.A. in Sculpture and a Certificate in Art Education in 2014. In 2018, she earned her M.F.A. in Sculpture from The Ohio State University. Her work has been exhibited at a regional level throughout central Ohio and at a national level in Minnesota, Wisconsin, New York and Tennessee. In 2019 she participated as a Writer-in-Residence at Vermont Studio Center and as a Print Fellow at the Columbus Printed Arts Center. Her visual work is a hybrid practice that reaches across drawing, sewing, sculpture and language to explore the space between the material and the spiritual.
