Abstract
Am I age appropriate to start a doctorate?  How will my marriage/relationship be affected by my doctoral work?  What factors go into relocating?   Should I keep my job and enroll part‐time or quit my job and accept an assistantship or fellowship?   ~ 155 ~  Saturday Will I still have ‘a life’?  Should I start mid‐year when most others started in the fall?  What other factors should I consider?  How do I know a program is right for me?  This presentation will provide potential doctoral students and interested faculty with answers based on first‐hand experiences of current Old Dominion University doctoral students.
