Abstract
This brief article appears as an Association for Humanistic Psychology (AHP) Blog. "On April 22, we paused to acknowledge Earth Day. The theme of Earth Day was 'invest in our planet.' An investment in Mother Earth requires us all to act boldly, to innovate broadly, and to implement equitably. To make this kind of investment, beyond all the political rhetoric, requires a basic and yet simple shift in our individual and collective Consciousness toward a humanistic realization about the link between us and Mother Earth."
