Abstract

Explored the role of emotional and social intelligence in clinical supervision; how defense mechanisms are triggered when emotional needs are not met. Explained the Neuroleadership SCARF model for working with students as a means of meeting students emotional and social needs; Discussed ways to develop emotional and social intelligence as clinical supervisors and foster development of these attributes in students
