Financial Durable Power of Attorney
Elder Law Handbook (2010)
  • Carolyn L. Dessin, University of Akron School of Law
Abstract

This handbook is intended to provide you with an overview of the many areas of elder law. This edition is substantially expanded from prior versions with new topics including Home and Community Based Services Waiver Programs and The Long-Term Care Partnership Program. One of the distinguishing characteristics of elder law is that it is intended to encompass all the legal needs of elder clients. Any given elder law attorney may not advise clients in all such areas but at least we should have a working knowledge in all relevant areas. This manual will hopefully provide an overview of all elder law areas and assist you in providing your clients with the best legal advice.
