About Carol Baumbauer

Dr. Carol Baumbauer joined Boise State University in 2024 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Berkeley, in 2019 and 2022 respectively. An electrical engineer by training, Baumbauer's work spans electrical and mechanical engineering, manufacturing, materials science, electrochemistry, and optics. Her current research is focused on developing systems of sensors for Precision Agriculture and environmental monitoring.
