About Colleen M Carmean

Dr. Colleen Carmean serves as the University of Washington Tacoma's digital architect: mobile; e-Learning and classroom innovation; and learning analytics. Her work lies in research and design of knowledge systems, including environments for emerging tools and media. She teaches critical thinking and applied computing, and is currently doing research on persistence technologies. Dr. Carmean is a 2002 EDUCAUSE NLII Fellow, a 2004 Frye Fellow, a 2006-2008 Arizona Wakonse Teaching Fellow and a 2013 UW Tacoma Writing Fellow.
