My dream is that everyone can enjoy a dignified quality of life in harmony with the Earth’s biosphere. Teaching the technologies and skills to address this complex problem has been at the core of my efforts as a researcher and an educator.

Honors and Awards
- 2013: Earned a James Madison Fellowship by the James Madison Summer Institute on the Constitution at Georgetown University
- 2009: Co-author of a wining project in Mondialogo, Sheltered House and Construction Technologies for Hurricane Vulnerable Zones in the Caribbean. The award was Sponsored by DaimlerChrysler and UNESCO. Value 15,000 EUR
- 2007: Co-author of a project titled "Rice Husk Ash: Energy and Concret. Earned honorable mention in Mondialogo with award valued at $18,000
- Awarded the Albert Fry Prize to a graduating study for his/her extraordinary contribution to the University of Bristol, UK
- Granted the ECIS award for International Understanding by the European Committee of International Schools
