About Carl Siebert

Dr. Carl Siebert joined Boise State University in 2015, and is an Assistant Professor for the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Foundational Studies. He received his Ph.D. in Measurement and Statistics and a M.S. in Biostatistics from Florida State University, a M.B.A. from Duke University, and a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Mathematics from California State University at Fullerton. Dr. Siebert’s research interests include nonparametric analysis in statistics and psychometrics, data modeling, and instrument development and item performance when dealing with small samples. His other interests are in the educational workforce, evaluation methods and strategies, student retention, and in online education best practices.
