About Cara M. Gallegos

Dr. Cara Gallegos joined the faculty of the School of Nursing at Boise State University in 2013. She has a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of New Mexico, and BSCN and MSN degrees from the University of Alberta. Before coming to Boise State, Dr. Gallegos taught at the University of Wisconsin in Eau Claire and at the University of New Mexico. Her specialty is in pediatric nursing and she is also Manager of Patient Safety and Quality Outcomes at St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise.
