Abstract
The Student Affiliates chapter at Georgia Southern University is thriving through excellence in academia, service and educational projects. The chapter has continued several outreach programs, including after school programs through which children are educated and inspired by the world of chemistry. The chapter also encourages community involvement through participation in local charities, fundraisers, and outreach programs with an increased emphasis on green chemistry for the past year. The chapter also sees the need to promote chemistry among its members by supporting academic presentation of papers and posters at regional and national meetings. This poster will include more information about these activities, details about participation of National Chemistry Week, and information about various ongoing programs.
