Abstract
The Student Affiliate Chapter at Georgia Southern University is thriving through excellence in academia, service and educational projects. This year our organization focused on the professional development of our members through speakers who discussed graduate school and summer research program. The chapter has performed several outreach programs including after school programs through which children are educated and inspired by the world of chemistry and our annual Mole Day Extravaganza. The chapter also encourages community involvement through participation in local charities, fundraisers, and outreach programs. The student affiliates at Georgia Southern are active, enthusiastic and eager to improve their community, themselves, and advance the science of chemistry.
