Abstract
"Nest-site characteristics of many Ardeidae species have been quantified and discussed for several areas along the Alantic coast (Meanley 1955, Jenni 1969, Burger 978, Mc Crimmonn 1978, Beaver et al. 1980). Because Yellow-crowned Night-Herons (Nycticorax violaceus) nest in very scattered, small oclonies or as isolated pairs, they are often difficulty to locate (Price 1946, french 1973, Parnel and Soots 1979)..."
