Abstract

1) To determine spatial use and activity budgets of whimbrels during spring and fall migration including foraging rates, the influence of tide cycle on activities, the location of roosting sites, and opportunistic resighting of any previously tagged whimbrels in Virginia. 2) Conduct ongoing “Whimbrel Watch” program at Box Tree Creek, Virginia.
