Food plays such an important role in Louisiana literature and culture that we decided to add a spin-off that focuses exclusively on food. We hope to add recipes from all of Louisiana's regions, ethnicities, and time periods. Some of the older recipes were written for fireplace cooking or wood-fired stoves, and some ingredients are measured out in the infamous “pinch.” We would like your feedback on what temperatures and amounts you find work best.
