About Bruce Bowers, MD, FACC

Dr. Bruce Bowers is the co-founder of the Dallas Cardiovascular Specialists practice. He is a nationally recognized leader in the field of interventional cardiology and minimally invasive valve surgery. His outstanding and groundbreaking cardiology work has resulted in him being named the National Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology for HCA Healthcare. In this role, Dr. Bowers helps lead the cardiology programs of more than 150 hospitals across the country. In addition to his national leadership role, he serves as the Medical Director of Invasive and Noninvasive Cardiology and the Dallas Valve Institute at Medical City Dallas Hospital. Dr. Bowers is also the Medical Director of Interventional Cardiology and Co-Chairman of the Cardiovascular Executive Board for Medical City Healthcare.

Dr. Bowers continues to accept new patients and has a busy general cardiology office practice where he sees patients in need of cardiac risk factor management and cardiac testing such as stress tests, echocardiograms, and vascular evaluations. Dr. Bowers has a simple care philosophy that has served him well over the years, “Treat patients the same way you would want your own family member to be treated.”
