About Britton Lynn, M.F.A.

Britton has worked at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas since 2003, where he teaches many of the theatrical design and production courses.  His students have won design competition awards at the Southeastern Theatre Conference and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology. His recent designs at Harding include Matilda, Crazy for You, The Glass Menagerie, and Shrek: the Musical!. He has also directed several HU productions including Elf: The Musical, Hands on a Hardbody, Annie Get Your Gun!, Doubt, Charley’s Aunt, Macbeth, and A Child’s Christmas in Wales. Britt performs occasionally as well- favorite roles include The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) [Revised], Curtains!, 1776, and God’s Man in Texas.  Outside of Harding, he has designed productions for Andersen University and The Ozark Actors Theatre. Britt has a Masters of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from the University of Tennessee.
