Abstract
A review of the 2018 book  Our Lady of Everyday Life: La Virgen de Guadalupe and the Catholic Imagination of Mexican Women in America by María Del Socorro Castañeda-Liles. This book makes excellent use of ethnographic methods to provide insight into the “staying power” of devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe in the daily of lives of Mexican and Mexican-American women across generations.
