My research interests revolve around comparative constitutional law, constitutional theory, civil disobedience, law and culture, and language and the law.
He is the editor of Law and Politics of the Taiwan Sunflower and Hong Kong Umbrella Movements (www.routledge.com/9781472486141), and author of the forthcoming book: Warnings on Constitutional Idolatry (Edward Elgar).
I am currently co-convenor for the Public Law Subject Section for the Society of Legal Scholars (SLS), and am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I hold a PhD in Law from the University of Stirling; an MA in Law & Society from George Mason University, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
