About Brian Hutchinson

I am an Instructor of Art Education and Foundations Studio courses. I am the primary liasion connecting the Department of Art and Design with the Department of Secondary Education. I have 16 years of combined instruction experience at the K-post secondary levels in studio art, art history, and portfolio development. I am also a practicing Fine Artist working in a wide range of media including Printmaking, Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Ceramics, Mixed Media, Installation, Jewelry, and applied technology aspects of these media. I teach all levels of Art Education courses at Fort Hays State University as well as studio courses including Non-Traditional Printmaking, Drawing, and Traditional Printmaking. I also supervise interns and student teachers as they train for their career.
