Abstract

Moving towards total quality (TQ) should be regarded as only one element of the overall training activities of any company. TQ training can present significant logistical and cost challenges. Furthermore, it can only be really successful if undertaken by enthusiastic individuals who are prepared to involve trainees in discussions and willing to listen to all views. Using experts offers a level of objectivity that is frequently not reached by a company's own trainers.
