Abstract
With many students in China during the COVID-19 global pandemic, many U.S. institutions of higher education are expecting students to use--and even providing--VPNs. This could lead to many complications for Chinese students, as the use of VPNs to "leap over" the Great (Fire)Wall is illegal.
