FLAME ACCELERATION OF PROPANE-AIR IN A LARGE-SCALE OBSTRUCTED TUBEProgress in Astronautics and Aeronautics (1984)
AbstractPropane-air explosion experiments have been performed in a large-scale 50-m**3 obstructed tube of 2. 5-m diam. and 10-m length and with one end fully open to the atmosphere. In general, the peak over-pressures were approximately three times higher than those obtained in the methane-air explosions of Moen et al.
