About Bini Litwin

Education
Dr. Litwin received her PT degree from State University of New York at Buffalo, DPT from A.T. Still University, PhD in Conflict Resolution from Nova Southeastern University and her MBA from Barry University.

Teaching
Dr. Litwin teaches in the EDPT, TDPT and PhD PT programs
Courses: PHT 7405: Professional Roles of the DPT; PHT 7120 Critical Inquiry; PHT 6725: Cardiac and Pulmonary PT; Cultural Competency woven through PHT 5611 Introduction to PT, PHT 6710 Clinical Skills I and II.
Dr. Litwin also serves as Chair and Committee Member on Dissertation Committees.

Scholarly Activities and Interests
Dr. Litwin’s research interests focus on group/interprofessional processes, cultural competency, cardio-pulmonary outcome measures and educational strategies for medically complex patients.
Dr. Litwin has published in numerous peer-reviewed journals and presented her research at numerous international, national, state and local conferences.  She is the author of “Playing on the Boys Team” and co-authored a Bar Charts study guide for physical therapists.  She has received multiple grants, including principal investigator for an NSU Quality of Life grant.
She serves as Faculty Liaison to the PT students and is actively involved in community service projects throughout the year.

Areas of Practice
Dr. Litwin has extensive experience in healthcare administration and management, with clinical experience in acute care and rehabilitation settings.

Professional Activity Summary
Dr. Litwin is an APTA member holding Education and Cardiopulmonary section membership.  She is also a member of the Alpha Eta Honor Society.
