About Brandon O. Hensley

I am a teacher and advanced doctoral student, trying to navigate the liminal spaces that intersect and overlap in those subject positions. My research interests blur the disciplinary boundaries between cultural studies, critical pedagogy, social foundations of education, communication studies, media criticism, higher education leadership, and sociology. I am interested in alternative ethnographic methods that allow for reflexive self-interrogation, a break from conventional forms of ethnographic reporting and a turn toward vulnerability and social justice in all forms of inquiry.
