About Beverly Copeland, Ph.D., RDN, LD

 Dr. Copeland is an Associate Professor in the College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources. She specializes in childhood and adult obesity, with a focus on low-income and underserved populations. Her research seeks to understand and address obesity and nutrition-related diseases, such as diabetes, renal disease, and hyperlipidemia. She is dedicated to developing effective prevention and treatment strategies for obesity while exploring the various factors that contribute to this issue. Other areas of interest are food insecurity and HIV and Aids.
