The earthquake that hit Haiti killed more than 200,000 people and left 1.5 million homeless. Although recovery efforts are continuing in full speed, daily life in haiti remains precarious and needs further assistance. Almost 2 billion dollars have been raised by governments, organizations and individuals. The emphasis now is on providing food, shelter and medical care for the ones who survived.
