Abstract
Time-resolved measurements are presented which further support the presence of “hot” electrons in electron-hole droplets in Ge under 〉111〈 stress. The results are used to discuss the decay mechanisms of “hot” electrons and the possibility of phase separation of “hot” and “cold” electrons in an electron-hole droplet.
