About Benjamin Drozdenko

Dr. Ben Drozdenko is an Assistant Professor of Cyber Engineering at Louisiana Tech University (since September 2017). He was a lecturer at Northeastern University, where he taught a special topics course in Wireless Networking Technologies: Design and Simulation. From January 2014 to April 2017, he was a full-time Ph.D. student at Northeastern University and a graduate research assistant. His research expertise is primarily in the design and test of wireless communications protocols on heterogeneous computing architectures.

From September 2008 to January 2014, he worked for Mathworks, Inc., makers of MATLAB and Simulink, accelerating the pace of engineering and science worldwide(TM). At MathWorks, starting Sept 2011, as a Signal Processing Content Specialist, his role had been to write technical documentation and examples for several Signal Processing and Communications area products. Earlier, as a Training Engineer, his responsibilities included traveling to customers' sites and presenting educational material on the usage and capabilities of various MathWorks computer software products. From July 2004 until September 2008, he worked for Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems as a Systems Engineer. He spent the majority of his time there on the verification, test, and analysis of a forward-based X-Band transportable Radar for the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) program.
