Abstract
The purpose of this study was to understand the experiences of food pantry patrons and the impact on food security and health status in order to improve services and healthy food options. The Social Determinants of Health was used as a framework to understand the impact on health outcomes. A hierarchical multiple regression was used to determine predictors of health and mental health outcomes.
