Effecting Change: The Teaching of Anti-Opressive Techniques

Abstract
The Commission on Diversity will offer participants several experiential activities that may be implemented in their classrooms. The activities are intended to help students identify oppression and privilege as well as anti-oppressive practice. Techniques for how to facilitate safe classroom discussions on oppression will also be addressed and discussed.
