About Bartolomé Clavero

A native of Spain, Bartolomé Clavero Salvador's own research interests are in the area of Native American law and legal sociology. He received his law degree and a doctor of laws degree from the Universidad de Sevilla, where he teaches constitutional history. He has served as the Lloyd M. Robbins Fellow in legal history at Boalt Hall, and on the faculty of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Universidad de Cádiz en Jerez de la Frontera. He has also visited at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, the Università degli Studi di Sassari, the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, the Universidade Federal Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil, and the Universidad de la Cordillera, in Bolivia. He serves on the editorial board of, among others, the Anuario de Historia del Derecho Español. A small sample of his publications is listed below.
