THE PRINCIPLE OF EQUIVALENCE AT FINITE TEMPERATUREGENERAL RELATIVITY AND GRAVITATION
AbstractWe demonstrate that the equivalence principle is violated by radiative corrections to the gravitational and inertial masses at finite temperature. We argue that this result can be attributed to the Lorentz noninvariance of the finite temperature vacuum.
