Abstract
The abdomen and pelvis interactive learning objects are a series of self-test exercises designed to accompany undergraduate anatomy courses. It is separated into three main sections: abdomen, urinary and reproductive systems. In each section, students may select from a range of exercises including short answer, matching, multiple choice questions and “drag and drop” label identification of images. Students have the opportunity to test their visual recognition of gross anatomy by choosing correct answers to identify selected structures on dissected cadavers. In addition, learners may navigate through a case study that requires student feedback in order to progress through the cases. All learning objects are anchored in learning objectives and are interactive, requiring learners to process information and make decisions. Immediate feedback is provided to students, reinforcing the learning.
