Abstract

paper examines the Commonwealth Caribbean fifty years since Independence and attempts to assess whether that process has been a failure or success. It concludes with some recommendations for changes in the future which will help maximize the Caribbean brand ,and argues strongly for some renewed form of political regionalism to help these micro states survive a highly globalized and interdependent world, which places their micro states in an untenable path of extinction.
