Abstract

The aims of this study are: identify, prepare and evaluate novel materials for rapid defeat of aerosolized microorganisms; develop an experimental capability to assess inactivation of Bacillus spores to support the WMD defeat weapon testing; and understand biochemical mechanisms of thermal and chemical inactivation of aerosolized microbial agents.
