Atikur Rahman received his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from North Dakota State University, Fargo, North Dakota. He has a Master of Science in Irrigation and Water Management and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. Dr. Rahman previously worked as Research Associate at Mayville State University, Mayville, North Dakota. He also worked as a Professor at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh. His research focuses on smart irrigation scheduling, wastewater treatment and management, nutrient and environmental management, climate change impact assessment, and crop and hydrological modeling. He has co-authored over 35 journal articles and conference presentations.
