Dr. Ashley Geerlinks is a pediatric hematology and oncology specialist at the Children's Hospital (LHSC) and an assistant professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Western University.

Dr Ashley Geerlinks joined the Department of Pediatrics in 2021. Dr Geerlinks is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist who has completed additional training in clinical immunology. Her clinical practice focuses on patients with blood disorders, immune regulatory disorders and primary immune deficiencies.  

Dr Geerlinks completed her medical degree at Western University in London, Ontario, postgraduate training in pediatrics at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and subspecialty training in pediatric hematology/oncology at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Ontario. Dr Geerlinks then pursued a Clinical Immunology Fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio where she had the opportunity to work with leading experts in immune dysregulation and hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).  

Dr Geerlinks' current research focuses on immune dysregulation, lymphoproliferative disorders and histiocytic disorders, in particular HLH. She is an active member of the Clinical Immunology Network-Canada, Clinical Immunology Society, Histiocytosis Society, and American Society of Hematology.
