About Ariella Saslafsky

Ariella is a Junior at the University of Central Florida majoring in Biomedical Sciences. She currently does research in infectious diseases in Dr. Griffith Parks’ lab at the UCF Lake Nona Campus. Her collegiate goal is to finish her Honors in the Major project. Ariella has completed a summer research program at Vanderbilt funded by the NIDDK STEP-UP in her undergraduate career and expects to enter a post-bachelorette research experience once she has graduated. Afterwards, she plans to earn her PhD to become a well-rounded researcher and teach at the university level.
