Abstract
Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge web browsers come pre-installed in Windows devices. No doubt, the browsers made by MS do have problems associated with it. People complain that they are not able to access specific sites in MS Edge. If you are also facing this same problem, then this blog is perfect for you. Here are some fixes for the issue.



Look the connection problem

Restarting the Network Adapter

  1. Firstly, put the combination of the Windows+ R button on the keyboard.
  2. Into the given dialog box, write ‘ncpa.pl.’
  3. Next, tap on OK.
  4. After that, you need to do a right-click on the network adapter.
  5. Then, press on Disable.
  6. Next, do a right-click on the network adapter.
  7. Lastly, tap on Enable.

Updating the network adapter driver

Update the network adapter driver by using the Device Manager

  1. Firstly, visit the taskbar.
  2. Next, do a right-click on the Windows symbol.
  3. After that, choose Device Manager from the given options.
  4. Whenever Device Manager is open, you need to extend the contents of the ‘Network Adapters’ section.
  5. Next, do a right-click the network adapter of yours.
  6. After that, choose the Update Driver.
  7. Lastly, choose ‘Search automatically for updated driver software.’

Solution for IE

Enter the shortcut manually
  1. Firstly, do a right-click on the site URL.
  2. Next, choose Copy Shortcut. It will be located in the context menu.
  3. After that, visit the address bar of IE.
  4. Then, paste the shortcut.
  5. Lastly, tap Enter on the keyboard.

Use the Compatibility view

  1. Firstly, visit the IE.
  2. Then, tap on the F12 button of your keyboard.
  3. After that, visit the Developer Tools screen menu.
  4. Next, choose Browser Mode: IEx.
  5. Then, select the earlier version of IE. It will be located in the Browser Mode list.
  6. Lastly, exit the Developer Tools screen by tapping on the F12 button one more time.

Including shortcut to secure address list

  1. Firstly, launch Internet Explorer.
  2. Then, press on Tools.
  3. After that, choose ‘Compatibility View Settings.’
  4. Whenever Compatibility View Settings gets opened, visit Add this Website area.
  5. After that, give the URL of that particular site that is affected.
  6. Next, choose Add.
  7. Lastly, press on Close for exiting from the window.

Solution for the MS Edge
Reset MS Edge

  1. Firstly, visit the taskbar.
  2. After that, do a right-click on the Windows symbol.
  3. Next, choose Apps and Features from the menu. 
  4. Then, visit the right-hand side of the screen.
  5. After that, search for MS Edge. 
  6. Next, choose MS Edge. 
  7. Then, press on the Advanced Options link.
  8. Lastly, choose the Reset option.
